Blake Matteson is a singer-songwriter from Vermont with a deep love for music —her parents say she could sing before she could talk. She picked up the guitar at age 10 and was inspired by her musical family, especially her grandpa. Blake writes her own songs and draws inspiration from artists like Joni Mitchell, Bob Marley, Alicia Keys, Brandi Carlile, Adele, and Jewel. In March 2024, she recorded her first project at Tank Recording Studio in Burlington, thanks to a scholarship through the Burlington Music Dojo. Performing brings her joy, and she’s excited to share her passion for music at our Fairfax location.
