Rowan

Songs and tunes seem to carry their own power over the years, surviving for hundreds of years. Rowan feel lucky to steward them forward in our own unique way. They perform Celtic and traditional folk songs and tunes as well as original compositions, using guitar, mandolin, bouzouki, cuatro octave mandolin, Celtic harp, harmonica, claw-hammer banjo, and more. Rowan have been performing in and around Vermont for many years, and have graced the stages of The Flynn Theater, Barre Opera House, St. Michael’s College, Champlain Valley Fairgrounds, along with participating in countless festivals and celebrations. They are known for their full sound, and thoughtful, heartfelt yet faithful arrangements of songs and tunes in Celtic, folk, traditional, Appalachian, Americana and similar genres.

Waterbury — 7-9 pm

Dan Bishop

A professional musician since the age of 15 and long-time bassist for groups throughout northern VT, Dan Bishop presents, EUSTIS, his first attempt at sharing his voice alongside his fingers. Initially a synth-heavy COVID project based in the studio, EUSTIS has morphed into a solo acoustic, singer/songwriter act. Pulling from influences spanning genres and decades, Dan’s voice is familiar and gentle as he sings about life’s more difficult hurdles.
